A man aged 48 has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a man in Ashwell Road.
Police were called to a property after reports of a fight shortly before midnight and found a man collapsed at the scene.
He was taken to West Suffolk Hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
The man, who is from Bury, is being questioned by police.
