Masked thieves break into Bury St Edmunds branch of Waitrose

Masked raiders broke in to Waitrose in Bury St Edmunds early on Tuesday morning, stealing a quantity of cigarettes.

The Bury St Edmunds branch of Waitrose which was targeted on Tuesday morning.
Suffolk Police said two thieves prized apart the automatic doors at the supermarket in Robert Boby Way at around 2am and managed to lift the metal shutters over the tobacco counter.
The raid only lasted a couple of minutes and they were picked up on the store's CCTV leaving the store and getting into a dark coloured car outside the automatic car park barriers, which was driven by a third person.
Police say the raiders were wearing white paper overalls and black face masks, which are thought to be fetish wear.
