Suffolk is set to go Jubilee crazy this June as the Queen celebrates 60 years on the throne and there's a four day weekend in which to celebrate!

While most people will just be happy to get a couple of days off of work, there are sure to be plenty more who want to hold a party - and if you're planning to hold a street party in Bury St Edmunds, you may be wondering where to start.

Street parties for last year's Royal Wedding were all organised through the borough council but from this Wednesday you can start the process for applying for a special permit from Suffolk County Council.

The council are now the only processing agent for Diamond Jubilee street parties and you can apply by calling 0845 6066171 or by clicking here.
