Temperatures set to soar in Bury St Edmunds over next few weeks

Hold on to your shorts - and don't chuck out the sunscreen yet - Bury St Edmunds is set to sizzle in 23c degree heat this weekend and it could get even hotter.

Lovely warm weather in Bury St Edmunds on Friday
The Indian Summer has shown no signs of vanishing as this week we've had some lovely sunny days with warm weather thrown in too - and the forecast for this weekend just gets better and better.
Forecasters at the Met Office say the south and east of the country could see temperatures as high as 27C next week - that's 11 degrees higher than the 16C average for the end of September.
