    The police are on the trail of milk thieves that have been 'repeatedly stealing' from Howard Primary School in St Olaves Road Bury St Edmunds. On Wednesday 12 litres of milk were taken from the school yard between 4am -7am previously the thieves have been taking one or two pints each morning.     Suffolk Police want Bury St Edmunds residents to keep a watchful eye over local properties after an increase in the number of homes being used as 'Cannabis Factories'.     The Bury St Edmunds branch of Waitrose which was targeted on Tuesday morning.
    Masked raiders broke in to Waitrose in Bury St Edmunds early on Tuesday morning, stealing a quantity of cigarettes. Suffolk Police said two thieves prized apart the automatic doors at the supermarket in Robert Boby Way at around 2am and managed to lift the metal shutters over the tobacco counter.     Did you hear about the weekend tyre slashings on the Howard Estate in Bury St Edmunds over the weekend? All the incidents took place on Friday or Saturday and the cars damaged were in St Olaves Road, Clay Road, Hunter Road, Parkington Walk and Beard Road.
