Car tyre slashing spree on Howard Estate in Bury St Edmunds

Did you hear about the weekend tyre slashings on the Howard Estate in Bury St Edmunds over the weekend?

All the incidents took place on Friday or Saturday and the cars damaged were in St Olaves Road, Clay Road, Hunter Road, Parkington Walk and Beard Road.

Ten cars were involved in the slashing spree with more than 30 tyres damaged.

A police spokesman told the EADT: “This reckless vandalism has caused hundreds of pounds worth of damage and inconvenience for the owners of the vehicles. We would like to hear from anybody in these areas who saw or heard anything suspicious on this night.”
