What does everyone think of the Christmas lights in Bury St Edmunds now we've had a good chance to look at them? The ones at the Arc are better than the ones in the Cornhill in my view - but love driving along Angel Hill in the dark and seeing the tree and the lights around the Angel Hotel. What does everyone else think?

I think they look really good Matt, really like the ones up by the arc too and just love, love, love the Christmas tree on Angel Hill. It's lovely.

arc looks great , a good co ordinated idea carried through .. St Johns looks good as well , especially the strobe lights across the road , and it is nice to see the streets around Churchgate lit this year too .
I still think that the 'heart; of town - cornhill , buttermarket & abbeygate in particular look a bit of an afterthought , is is difficult when you have a wide street such as cornhill / buttermkt to do much across the street , but you would think that this area would be better ; abbeygate street , even with its dismally poor street lighting looks very un christmassey again , just 4 garlands across ..last night I drove through town at about half seven , and alot of the lights were not on arounf the town !! broken already ???
