ON WEDNESDAY night local tribute band The Fillers took to the stage at Bury St Edmunds hot new entertainment venue. Performing tracks from The Killers top selling albums, including my personal favourite Hot Fuss, they were very well received by the Bury St Edmunds crowd.

This was the first gig I have seen at The Apex and I think it is a brilliant local entertainment venue. The acoustics were good and the staff manning the box office were very friendly and helpful. The Apex is in a great central location (smack bang in the middle of the Arc) and is therefore near to lots of Bury's restaurants,bars and pubs. Today officially marks the end of the Apex soundcheck season and there are lots of exciting events planned for 2011. This includes the monthly comedy nights which are always popular.
