Why I like Bury St Edmunds

I moved here from Cambridge at the age of 22 having lived there all my life. I was worried that I'd miss Cambridge but I'm happy to say that if I ever did, Bury won me around! I'm so proud of living in such a beautiful town as Bury St Edmunds. Our market is fantastic, especially the fresh produce and flowers, as a family we enjoy the open spaces of Nowton Park and the Abbey Gardens. The window boxes & hanging baskets are beautiful, especially during Bury in Bloom. In the last 2 years I've seen the Queen & Prince Charles on Angel Hill! You've got to love a Royal Visit! I love our life here and any time we visit other towns or cities I'm always so happy to come back home to lovely Bury St Edmunds.

Why I don't like Bury St Edmunds

Gutted I missed out on tickets to see Simon Amstell at The Theatre Royal a few years ago (I think) because of the "friends of the theatre" having first dibs - annoying! Also, there seems to be a lot of dog poo-leavers around which is simply disgusting behaviour! There are some residential areas of Bury St Edmunds which aren't my cup of tea but I think you get that in most towns that I know of.
