The Dove at 68 Hospital Road, has been in Bury since Queen Victoria first sat on the throne in 1837 and is the true real ale pub for any beer afficianado in town. The Dove boasts some of the best real ales in Britain from popular brewers such as Woodfordes, Grain, Oakham Ales and features increasingly well known beers such as Old Growler, Nog, Nelson Revenge and the 5.0 ABV Admirals Reserve. Most of the ale is from East Anglian brewers, the pub wins award after award and you can enjoy a pint of something different without feeling any pub snobbery.
