The holiday camps for 8 to 12 year olds will take place every day from Monday 21 February to Friday 25 February from 9am to 5pm. Children can take part in the camps for a morning or afternoon, a whole day or even the whole week.
There are lots of different activities to choose from each day and a range of indoor activities for adverse weather conditions. For younger children there will be tots fun, a multi activity session, Wet n Wild and flume sessions.
The new camps are a change in direction to the usual activities provided at the Centre for the school holidays.
Amelia Epton, Abbeycroft’s Sports Development Officer, said: “We have made the changes in response to requests from parents and youngsters. Parents can now drop off their children in the holidays and while they go to work the children can try out new sports and activities.”
The holiday camps cost £7.50 for a morning or afternoon session, additional children £6 each. For the whole day it costs £15 per child, £12 each for additional children and £60 for the week, with additional children at £60 per child.
Bookings must be made in advance at the leisure centre or by calling 01284 753496. Visit Abbeycroft’s website for more information at www.acleisure.com
