Beautiful Bury St Edmunds was treated to some lovely winter sun today as temperatures rocketed to a barmy 14C this afternoon.

Nowton Park in Bury St Edmunds was bathed in sun this afternoon - and packed full of visitors.
After a grim and freezing winter and a dull January, the past week has been wet and cold. Yet today there was some welcome relief as Suffolk saw its warmest day since last November.
The town's Nowton Park was packed today - the car park was full and there were families everywhere enjoying some unseasonal half term fun.
But don't get too excited - temperatures are expected to drop by 2 degrees a day over the next four days - on Monday it is forecast to be back down to 6C.
